STAIRCASE TO THE MOON
The Staircase to the Moon is a truly beautiful thing to see and should not be missed if you are coming up to Broome.
This natural phenomenon is caused by the rising of a full moon reflecting off the exposed mudflats in Roebuck Bay at extremely low tide, to create a beautiful optical illusion of the staircase reaching the moon. Occurs March to October.
